Week 1: The root of winter

Crispy potatoes

washed, de-noduled, diced, and tossed with olive oil, salt, rosemary and thyme. baked at 400 until desirably crispy.

turnips and beets, diced and tossed with olive oil, salt, and sprinkles of nutmeg. baked at 400 until your tummy grumbles

vibrant veggies

guest-given carrots and broccoli sauteed with onions, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Steaming lentils

steaming lentils; 1 part lentil, 2 parts water, 2 veggie bouillon cubes. boiled on med/high for 25 minutes.
